Particularities
The listed airport area, which had not been used for its original purpose for years, was give a new use as a "vintage car and sports car center" and converted accordingly.
The planning concept envisaged both the preservation of the building as such as well as its architectural and architectural structure. the new uses were sensitively integrated into the existing structure and added on; the architectural character of the building remained noticeable in many areas.
The use of the main building was essentially retained, the former depot was completely built over and the above-ground floors were used as a hotel. The two hangar buildings are used for exhibition and event purposes. Connection structures were planned between the individual parts of the building, which at the same time also form the fire compartment separation.
